I'm a writer and senior creative who has worked in-house with agencies, and freelance with national and international brands for, oh, a few decades now. As a young man, I was lured away from my studies in advertising and graphic design to write for a Toronto ad agency specializing in youth accounts (Levi's, Lee, Bang & Olufsen, Carhartt, etc.) Later, I joined DDB, and for several years was a roving creative director and senior copywriter throughout their Canadian operations. Self-employed for oh, ages now, I continue to attract new clients. My scope of experience ranges from pet food to petrochemicals, with a client/project list that includes the DesCan (the Togethering campaign), Government of Canada, iovation/TransUnion, Canadian Public Health Association, Destination Canada (Canadian Tourism Commission), Belonging Network, Association for Energy Affordability (NYC), LAM LHA Security Innovations (Paris), Petcurean Pet Nutrition, First Nations Health Directors Association, Nabob Coffee Company, etc. etc. etc & more. My juices flow when I get to really uncover the lifeblood of a brand, and then articulate that in work that can range from packaging copy, to brand story; plus brand films, experiential installations and social campaigns.
I’m a highly-collaborative, communicative and outgoing person. There’s no project that intimidates me, and few problems that perplex me. A sampling of my work is on my website. Have a look. If you don’t see what you’re looking for let me know, I probably have it in the back. www.petepallett.com
