Andrea Tétrault Winnipeg, Manitoba

Andrea is a partner at Tétro, a graphic design agency in Winnipeg, which she founded with her husband Paul in 1998. She began her career in 1990 at Scott Thornley & Company in Toronto, working with clients such as the Canadian Opera Company and the Toronto Marathon. In 1994, she returned to Winnipeg to work under the mentorship of late DesCan Fellow Robert L. Peters at Circle Design, who helped shape her design approach and deepen her dedication to the profession. Andrea served as president of the Manitoba chapter of GDC, contributing to the organization’s early days and fostering connections among designers across Canada. At Tétro, she provides creative direction to the design team, manages projects and fosters client relationships. She constantly strives to create an environment where everyone feels valued and supported. Some key client relationships she helped build at Tétro include CancerCare Manitoba, the National Arts Centre, Canada Energy Regulator, Young People's Theatre, African Development Bank, and Canada Post. In 2020, Andrea was featured on Canadian Women in Design, a website showcasing Canada's finest female and non-binary designers. In 2023 Andrea was honoured with DesCan Fellowship, and serves as a mentor and lecturer for aspiring designers.
