Mark Pilon is a Vancouver-based multidisciplinary designer and artist working across graphic design, illustration, motion and painting. A former creative director and illustrator at The Georgia Straight, he is known for brightly coloured geometric abstractions and playful characters inspired by mid-century design. His award-winning work has been exhibited internationally, contributing to Vancouver’s distinctive post-pop visual culture. His clients have included Virgin Records, IKEA and MotorTrend. He is currently a motion and design specialist with the Brand and Marketing team at the University of British Columbia.
