The British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) Creative Vision Scholarship supports emerging design professionals who are entering Term 3 of the Graphic Design and Interactive Media (GDIM) diploma program at BCIT. Awarded twice annually—once in January and once in September—this $1,000 scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate creativity, innovation, and a commitment to inclusive and impactful design.
The GDIM diploma program builds upon BCIT’s Graphic Design Certificate and prepares students for junior to mid-level roles in the dynamic fields of graphic design and interactive media. With a strong focus on inclusive design, accessibility, ethics, and emerging technologies, the GDIM program equips graduates to create user-centric design solutions that make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.
The BCIT Creative Vision Scholarship is an opportunity for students to reflect on how their lived experiences, design foundations, and future learning in the GDIM program can help them contribute to the profession and drive positive change through design.
